Some card companies will give you an instant decision online and some may take a few days to process your application which is normal.  If you are a frequent flyer it might be worth getting a credit card that offers discount on airline tickets if you use your credit card to purchase flight tickets as they pass on the savings to you which is another good feature.  Not only that but if you check into well known hotels and use your credit card you also receive more reward points, so ideal candidates for this type of credit card would be a corporate traveller on business.  If you do travel alot i would recommend getting the “All in one” credit card as they offer many different rewards including -Flights, Car hire, Hotel, Insurance, Gas and many more rewards
